I think the function of sports in society varies. It provides entertainment. It also make lots of different companies and people tons of money a year. Also, it provides jobs for those who are athletically enhanced.

A Christmas Tradition


Every year on christmas eve all my family and I, aunts, uncles, and cousins gather at my grandparents house. After the huge dinner is when all the fun starts. We watch T.V have conversations, have dart games and always go to midnight mass. After mass is when we open the presents and play a family game with santa mitts. After all the fun is had and the drinks are drank, after 2 a.m at the earliest we go home in our beds and wait... for Santa

Winter is Here

Cold blowing
It is snowing
Winter time is here
Children playing all day long
Christmas also near

Skates on, Pads tight
Hockey players ready to fight
For the loss
For the win
Using all their skills and might

Caroles being sung
Stockings being hung
Turkeys are cooking
Santa is looking
for those who are naughty or nice

The sun comes out today
The snow starts melting away
Winter is over I hear
Have to wait until next year
So enjoy the sun in May
